It’s just a matter of time before the Bay Area experiences another devasting earthquake. How well you and your family prepare for a disaster before it happens will impact how quickly you recover.

Please join Bill Euchner, retired Battalion Chief from the San Mateo Fire Department, who will share Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) concepts, and discuss practical steps you can take to build your own emergency preparedness plan.

What you will learn:

• Understanding and preparing for the risks where you live
• Preparing yourself and your family before disaster strikes, which includes building an emergency supply kit
• Being ready to respond to and recover from a disaster
